I've been thinking a lot about blogging recently, having really been made aware of it in uni over this past weekend, and I've had a look through some of them and I've come across blog after blog after blog of teen angst and generally people's internal expression, and after creating my own blog I tried this very briefly, but then I realised that this is what I've always chosen to express through poetry, and I realise how long it has actually been since I've written any newmaterial.
So having this in mind I've decided to vow to myself that I'm going to start writing poetry again. I've been weighing up the idea of starting an 'anthology' of poems called Love, Hate, Sacrifice: so hopefully the fleshing out of ideas for a collection of poems should really get my poetical motor running again.
I've been having a lot of creative block over the past month or so, but we've done a full weekend on the generative creative process and also on the creative experience, with a lot of creative exercizes that I feel have freed my imagination a lot more and I feel a little more readily equipped to face the battle of the white space once again.
I also have a lot of work going on in university, whilst wanting to work on my scripts, continue with my novel and start this collection, and after a month of being almost completely dormant in the terms of writing I feel I have a lot to catch up on! If anyone has any miracles going space then I might actually achieve some quality personal work whilst giving all my attention to my masters degree! But there is a massive amount of coffee in the world so we'll see what happens
